We love weddings so much that we have decided to dedicate Wednesdays to them, so welcome to our first #weddingwednesday!
The idea behind this hashtag is actually sharing the amazing creations that some of our customers have made for their weddings so that we can help to inspire others.
Today we bring you some ideas of how to use or square prints or Polaroid prints to shout out to the world that you and your partner have decided to make the big step
So, you are engaged, congratulations! You will always remember the day that one of you popped the question and the other said “YES”. We also imagine that you have spent ages looking for a wedding photographer so why not road test them with an engagement shoot. Our General Manager Liam got married this year and he worked with his photographer to pull off a really cool Edwardian gent themed shoot around London and the Thames.
Liam Said: “Having a chance to work with MissGen before the stress of the wedding was great, you test out each other chemistry and Gen found out how to get the best shot. We also ended up with some awesome photos that we really cherish. I would suggest that you have ideas of what you want for this shoot. Be creative and be natural.”

Save the date Polaroids
If you have enough time you can use your engagement photos for letting your guests know that should keep the date clear in their diaries. Polaroids are a great format for those because they allow you to write on the space below the image using a marker pen or a cute stamp.

Bride maids invitations
How about giving your bridesmaid or groomsmen a cute gift when you ask them to be part of your big day. We are sure no one would say No when presented with memories and a cheeky bottle of bubbles.
It’s time to send outallall important invite! Some couples decide to include a little extra treat like a Polaroid Style print or one of our cute Mini snaps that features the happy couple. Or, how about adding in the back the address of the venue gift list info or the local hotels details? The Mini snaps are small enough for your guests to keep them in your wallet. Sometimes it’s those little touches that your guests really remember and appeciate.
Some wedding planners have suggested that having some of the patterns, ideas and looks collected really is a great way to help get organized for the big day.
Imagine the memory book you could build with your dress designs, hair styles and make up. It could make a lovely keep sake when you are into your twilight years.
You can use mini Pola snaps for those or even Polaroids if you want to add few notes to them!
Put together your love story
Ask your friends and family for your best couple pics. So that you can put together your love story trough photos and show those moments on your wedding day.
Weddings are the only time you and your friends come together to celebrate love. It’s a chance to remember all the special things that you two become one (Spice Girls quote). We would love to be part of your story helping you trough the process, before the wedding, during the big day and with the sweet hungover.
Look out next week for future #WeddingWednesday blogs posts about how to really enjoy your big day and how we can help add some very personal touches.
